五年一班後生仔同一條問題

「我唔知自己想做乜，我淨係想瞓醒有錢。」問佢點樣先可以做到，佢話：唔知。

Tommy 說： 我只可以同佢講一樣嘢：世上並不存在不必付出、自動到來的回報。真正的選擇權，永遠留給願意認識自己、持續裝備自己的人。​

未來的路，不一定很直。但起碼，我們給這班年青人一個機會 —— 由認識自我開始，把空想，變成可行的方向。

五年，一班後生仔，同一條問題

今年，是我們參與青少年發展企業聯盟的第五年。

五年裡面，我們見過很多年青人。每一位都有自己的獨特之處。我們做的，是協助他們因應自己的興趣與潛能，及早認識自己的職場方向。

有些孩子真的很有意向，會為自己努力。看到他們，你會覺得這件事值得做五年。

但也很多時候，我們會被他們氣死。有一個學生跟我們說：他不知道自己想做什麼，他只想睡醒就有錢。我們問他，那怎樣才可以做到？他說，不知道。

Tommy 老師只可以跟他分享一件事：

世上並不存在不必付出、自動到來的回報。真正的選擇權，永遠留給願意認識自己、持續裝備自己的人。

所以我們不只講課。我們帶他們看圖則、落工地、摸物料、看東西怎樣裝起來。因為要知道自己適合做什麼，先要看清楚真實的工作是什麼樣子。

我們捐出的，是時間、技術同工地經驗 —— 畀下一代，亦畀呢一行嘅將來。

Five years, and the same question

This year marks our fifth year working with the youth development business alliance

Over five years we have met a great many young people, and every one of them is different. What we do is help them understand their own interests and strengths early enough to start choosing a direction.

Some are remarkably driven. Watching them work is what makes five years worth it.

And sometimes they drive us mad. One student told us he did not know what he wanted to do — he just wanted to wake up rich. So we asked him how he planned to make that happen. He said he did not know.

Our Interior Director： Tommy Chau had only one thing to share with him:

There is no such thing as a reward that arrives without effort. Real choice belongs to those who are willing to understand themselves and keep equipping themselves.

The road ahead is not necessarily straight. But at least we can give these young people a chance — starting with knowing themselves — to turn a daydream into a workable direction.

That is why we do more than talk. We take them through drawings, onto site, and through the materials — because before you can decide what you want to be, you need to see what the work actually looks like.

What we donate is our time, our expertise and our site experience: to the next generation, and to the future of this industry.
